“What an amazing recital.  It was really profound and very moving. You had such a brilliant idea in putting all those pieces together and making such a statement.  I'm still thinking about it, even after the long drive home. […] you've got it all - the complete package!!!  Not only is your flute playing fantastic, (incredible technique and sound) but it's so expressive and dramatic! You communicate with your whole body and the music and the intensity comes through.  What's even more important -  you've got something to say!!

“I can’t begin to say how incredible your performance was.  First of all, the seamless way you went from one thing to another in the solo segment was astonishing: the sheer stamina it took to do this, not to mention the concentration and agility to shift styles without pause, honestly blew my mind. […] Every piece/mvt was masterfully executed (I really loved how you both did Fanmi in particular), but what I most marveled at was the beauty, elegance, and perfectly crafted precision of your Marais vars.  Every time you came back to those, you were able to re-enter that world as though you’d never left it.
